Rod has been marketing all lines of real estate in Iowa and Nebraska since 1999. Being raised on a farm, installed the Midwestern work habits and values. He received his B.S. degree from Morningside College. He and his wife Dawn have two children and currently reside on an acreage outside of Missouri Valley. When not working, he enjoys hunting, fishing and officiating wrestling.

I grew up in rural Iowa, live on an acreage and I work and play in rural American. Licensed in Iowa and Nebraska, a career in Real Estate Sales is the natural progression from an extensive background in the housing Industry. My experience and dedication encompass over 15 years and include property management, non- profit housing counseling, home buyer educator, and sales.
Previously I managed a non-profit Housing Counseling Agency in Council Bluffs and helped First Time Home buyers realize their dreams of homeownership through budget and credit counseling. Through grant writing I was able to establish a down payment/closing cost assistance program for low income buyers and to assist them in purchasing over $4,000,000 in homes. First Time Home Buyers face new challenges and by utilizing my unique background I am here to help you find and purchase your first home!
My Property management experiences include managing multi-family and senior properties and span over ten years. I believe in the importance of education and have a BS degree in Human and Social Service Administration from Bellevue University. I have been involved in numerous local and state boards promoting affordable housing in Iowa and fighting homelessness throughout the metro area. I was very proud to serve on the Governor’s task force for affordable housing in 2000 and collaborate with leaders across Iowa to build better communities.
Mother of three and grandmother of two, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am an avid equestrian and trail rider and love to meet new people through Competitive Trail Riding. My other hobbies include photography, camping, and gardening, collecting inspirational quotes and making jewelry.
