small towns on the western side of Iowa. All are located along a 40-mile stretch of the I-29 corridor, putting each within about a half-hour's drive of the Omaha, Nebraska, metropolitan area.
Missouri Valley and Onawa are home to approximately 3,000 people each; Treynor has a population of less than 1,000. Average high temperatures in the region reach 88 degrees Fahrenheit in July, and average lows get down to 11 degrees in January.
